: Easy!
I have been making this amazing dry spice rub for years. I use it whenever I cook a pork roast or when grilling ribs or chops. Even though I use it on pork, I am certain it will work on any other meat as well. I let the spices marinate the meat overnight before cooking or grilling. This is so much better than the bottled rubs sold in grocery stores. Once you try this, you will never want to purchase the pre-made stuff again! If you have any leftover, you can store it in a ziplock bag or an airtight container for another use. I always keep some on hand.
Ingredients
- 1 TBS Kosher Salt
- 1 TBS Black Pepper
- 1 TBS Cumin
- 1 TBS Garlic Powder
- 1 TBS Paprika
- 1 TBS Chili Powder
- 1 TBS Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
Directions
- Step 1 Add all of the spices and brown sugar to a medium size bowl and whisk together
- Step 2 Store in a ziplock bag or an airtight container. If you are going to use right away, generously coat the meat you are preparing all over. If you have the time, let the spice rub marinate the meat overnight in the fridge
